此件作品以回應2017年台北當代館的展覽島嶼隱身而製作，呼應策展脈絡下的多個內容之一，從花蓮離鄉或是從異地來到花蓮就業、就學的人。
作為一個離開高雄到花蓮舊讀大學的我，火車是我唯一可以往返高雄與花蓮的的交通工具，每一趟都要需花費五個小時，這五個小時會造成相當程度的疲乏與疲憊感，因此我試著在展場的走道上投影火車行駛的高速鐵軌的單調畫面，以這樣的方式呈現影像在空間中的快速流動感與空間本身產生視覺上的速度差異，來回溯在五個小時的行程中，那一種被扁平化的身體感、影像感以及時間感。
The work was made for exhibition named Hiding in the island, to respond the one of many context in the theme of curation, the theme mean leaving from or going to Hualien to work or study.
As a University student, I leaved from Kaohsiung to Hualien to study, the train was the only way to Hualien which I can choice, taked me five hours each trip so that it cause me a considerable degree of fatigue and exhaustion. I tried to reappear this condition with mapping the train moving on the rail on the corridor in the exhibition, to make same feeling for audience to experience the illusion view with the flowing image and space analogy to the trip on train, so that I can return the Flat body, image and time.
